I have a modem directly connected to a WY-60 terminal, but I don't get any display of AT commands on the screen. (SCO Unix)

Thanks to Bob Bailin for this answer:

Wyse 60 terminals don't display received data if the carrier detect (CD) signal (pin 8) is low. Use the AT&C0 modem command to force CD to always be high, regardless of whether you have a connection. Then use AT&W to save your new settings.
