What is an "xxevent" error on SCO Unix?

If you see "xxevent" errors, and you have a Digiboard, check to see if you put the cable on the wrong port of the ports module..

Of course this could come from other failutes and "xxevent" is possibly used by other drivers, but this was fairly common on old SCO Unix with Digi.
